Peter Hansen studied Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, Advertising and Speech Communications at San Diego State University, graduating in 1987. After a decade in business, managing sales and distribution throughout the West, he reconnected with his passion for storytelling and the film arts at The University of Washington. Asked to start up a video program at SVHS in 2002, he enlisted the help of the Sonoma Film Society and other community partners and has built what is easily one of the top facilities in California for Broadcast Media and Film Arts.
